Logistics

Logistics Specialist

Logistics is a vocational education programme that prepares professionals who can organise the movement of goods, manage warehouse processes and analyse transport data. It combines technology, planning and operational decision-making, leading to a Level 4 qualification under the Latvian and European Qualifications Frameworks.

The programme lasts four years and takes place on site. It is intended for students who have completed basic education (Year 9). It includes extensive qualification internships at logistics companies — more than 800 hours.

The programme covers core logistics processes, cargo identification and the fundamentals of warehouse work. Students learn to manage operational processes, including the placement and handling of goods, document flow and record-keeping. It also covers optimising logistics flows, route planning and data analysis.

The final stage focuses on the labour market, including extensive internships at companies, specialised logistics modules and small business management. Graduates can work as logistics specialists, warehouse coordinators, transport assistants, dispatcher assistants or logistics project assistants.

The annual fee for the 2026/2027 academic year is EUR 2,500 (EUR 250 per month over 10 academic months). The school offers a wide range of discounts.

A logistics specialist is the person who makes sure everything arrives in the right place, at the right time and in the right order. Behind every delivered shipment, every shop shelf and every production process lies precise planning, coordination and the ability to react quickly when things change.
Logistics teaches you to think in a structured way, analyse risk, make decisions and take responsibility for the outcome. It also develops communication skills, because the everyday work means dealing with clients, suppliers and colleagues across different countries and cultures.
