Hospitality Services
Hospitality Services Specialist
Hospitality Services is a vocational education programme that prepares a new generation of hospitality professionals, able to work in a dynamic international environment, handle situations as they arise and deliver high-quality service. It combines professional organisation, communication and aesthetics, leading to a Level 4 qualification under the Latvian and European Qualifications Frameworks.
Duration: 4 years
The programme lasts four years and takes place on site. It is intended for students who have completed basic education (Year 9). It includes extensive internships at leading hotels in Latvia and abroad.
What you will study
During the programme, students learn the fundamental principles of hospitality, professional etiquette and work organisation. They develop practical skills in guest service, preparing rooms and spaces, selling services and business correspondence. The programme also covers process management, including record-keeping and documentation, organising procurement, servicing conferences and events, and the work of a front desk.
The programme is built around the transition from student to specialist, including work in a real hospitality environment and specialised modules. Graduates can work as hospitality services specialists, hotel administrators, customer service specialists, employees of tourism companies or event coordinators.
Fees
The annual fee for the Hospitality Services programme in the 2026/2027 academic year is EUR 2,500 (EUR 250 per month over 10 academic months). The school offers a wide range of discounts.
Choosing a direction in education means choosing the foundation for your future security and self-confidence. What matters is not only the professional basics, but also the ability to communicate with different people, take responsibility, work in a team and understand the importance of workplace culture.
Hospitality education develops flexibility, self-confidence and the ability to handle new situations with respect for yourself and for others. It offers more than a profession — it builds solid life skills that are useful in any industry and in any country.
