On September 25, students from the KD.23, KD.24, and LD.24 groups visited Valmiera as part of the “Latvian School Bag” program. They explored the Valmiera Museum exhibition “de Woldemer” and attended the play “The Glass Menagerie.”

The museum exhibition gave students an opportunity to learn about the early history of Valmiera and its castle, including the power of Hanseatic merchants, the skills of craftsmen, and the everyday life of the townspeople. The play “The Glass Menagerie” by Tennessee Williams invited them to reflect on family, dreams, fears, and the difficulties of finding one’s place in life.
