Driving Innovation in VET: The Third Transnational Project Meeting
The BT4VET project
The BT4VET (Business Transformation of VET) Erasmus+ project held its third transnational project meeting online on 13 January 2026. All partners took part to review the results achieved so far and to coordinate the next stages of development: IAL FVG — coordinator (Italy), IWS (Spain), IHF (Belgium), Institute ADN (Poland), ANCCP (Spain), IDP (Italy) and Victoria/RISEBA (Latvia).
During the session, the coordinator (IAL FVG) confirmed that the interim report has been officially submitted to the National Agency. A significant moment in the meeting was the announcement that Work Package 3 (WP3) — developing an innovative business concept for VET providers — has been formally completed. All the results, and the final toolkit, available in all partner languages, are now freely accessible in the BT4VET digital open space.
The consortium now moves on to the testing and validation phase (WP4). This phase is led by IAL FVG and will involve:
- 100 participants from four partner organisations (IAL FVG, ADN, ANCCP and Victoria/RISEBA)
- testing of all WP3 results
- further development of the digital repository, including updates to the OER platform and online dissemination strategies, presented by IWS
Partners also took part in a green sustainability workshop, reinforcing the project's commitment to environmentally responsible practice. The discussion focused on reducing the carbon footprint through digital connectivity, promoting sustainable transport, and applying a circular approach to organising events.
Looking ahead, partners were also introduced to WP5, which covers feasibility studies and business planning and will be the main focus over the coming months.
The aims of BT4VET are to:
- foster innovation and increase the attractiveness of VET providers
- develop innovative business modelling and management tools
- set in motion processes for economic and social growth in the VET sector
By equipping VET providers with these digital tools, the project enables them to become agents of change in their own local areas.
